“A Note For Present and Future Valentines”

This writing focuses on spreading a positive and romantic word for lovebirds. Whether you have a special someone in your life, or not, know that there’s one person in this planet designed for you. I’m a believer of God designing true love for every single person. When I think of that, I also empathize and feel terribly sorry for those that have made decisions preventing them from encountering their true design.
When I think about love, I think about the agape love I’ve described in previous writings. Agape love is found in biblical passages in which I’ve learned about the unconditional love for the world given by God. I think of a love that has taught me what I haven’t experienced elsewhere - except in Gods presence alone. Through prayers and worship, I connect with the heavenly Father I find myself writing about, singing, and preaching about.
But, I want you to think about a romantic interest, your partner, or spouse. If you don’t have one yet, I encourage you to envision what your relationship and matrimony would consist of, and other important factors to consider. As you think about that person, I hope you find yourselves smiling! The short weeks, months, or long years don’t determine whether those smiles will fade or not. True love doesn’t have an expiration date. True love lives in our hearts and souls for an eternity.
As you think of the potential mate you have or haven’t met, think about him or her and how you can surprise your mate. If you have a long term partner , mate, best friend, or the term you find suits you best ; think about how you can surprise your significant other. Something I believe in strongly is consistency and the practice of surprising one another and keeping the fire burning. When I refer to the “fire burning”, I’m describing the after effect of a candle being lit for a long time. The candle begins to lose i’s potential and lowers down.
The candle light cannot turn off when there’s true love, and if it does, perhaps you haven’t found the one. In this writing, I’m focusing on real lovers, designed by God for one another. I’m describing the love and relationship or marriage I haven’t experienced , but will one day. Don’t wait for Valentine’s Day, but celebrate love everyday. May Valentine’s Day be a bigger celebration followed by consistent reminders of “I Love You'“ statements to your significant other all year long, and actions. May your love be unconditional!
Surprise each other with love notes, gifts, details, hugs, kisses, and all the other things that may surprise you and your partner. Everyone has their own love language. Balance your love language alongside your partners. Also, don’t focus plainly on your love language and style, be flexible! Add other things to your relationship or marriage to keep it on FIRE! When I think of what a future would look like with an ideal match and design by God, I think of unlimited ways I will share my love, my voice, my energy, and all I am to express my love to my future lover.
How about you add post notes to your partner in their packed lunches? Or stick them in the mirror of your bathroom before they wake up with special messages. How about you get them that favorite snack before getting to them? How about buying your partner roses, tulips, sunflowers, or other details before seeing them? Don’t wait for their birthday, holidays, anniversary, or “Valentine’s Day” to be the BIG day. Listen to your heart and think about how you can surprise your partner when you’re doing your best, as well as to doing your worst. Don’t make it a ONE day or ONE year plan, make it a LIFESTYLE. I despise how some people devote their lives to studies and fitness with more consistency than loving themselves and the person they love. I once met a young lady who would note down everything she ate, every detail of her food and drink intake (calories, hour of the day, how many times she ate , etc). If only, some were to do the same for their true love…
Why is love and romance important? Love and our emotions play a big role in our lives. How we’re doing romantically can impact our surroundings and how we perform in multiple ways. By maintaining a healthy relationship or marriage, you can maintain a healthy life balance and experience the GREATEST GIFT OF LIFE ; LOVE.. which can highlight all the positive areas of your life. True love strengthens your mind, soul, and spirit through emotional fulfillment.
During the holidays and Valentines Day, I encourage all readers to maintain the fire ongoing with their significant others. Yet don’t forget to keep that fire burning daily, during the greatest and toughest moments in life. If you find yourself having a crucial time or difficulty keeping the fire ‘ON’, perhaps it’s time for you to reflect, think , and analyze if the fire was meant to be on, or meant to become ashes for a reason. For true lovers, soulmates, and Gods design, ignite more fire and enjoy Valentine’s and everyday next to your true love. Maintaining a healthy relationship or marriage will flow naturally and smoothly with your true love. Celebrate love while also acknowledging the impact of your actions, words, and how you light up fireworks next to your significant other.
